1 Introduction to International Journal of Aquaculture
International Journal of Aquaculture is an open access, peer reviewed journal published online by Aqua Publisher. The journal publishes all the latest and outstanding research articles, letters and reviews in all working and studying within the many varied areas of aquaculture, containing the latest developments and techniques for practice in aquaculture, information about the entire area of applied aquaculture, including breeding and genetics, physiology, aquaculture-environment, hatchery design and management, utilization of primary and secondary resources in aquaculture, production and harvest, the biology and culture of aquaculturally important and emerging species, aquaculture product quality and traceability, as well as socio-economics of aquaculture and impacts.

2 Aims and Scope
International Journal of Aquaculture is committed to publishing and disseminating all the latest and outstanding research articles, letters and reviews in all areas of aquaculture and its relative science research.

All papers chosen for publications should be creative reviews, innovative research work, short communications, and case reports on all aspects of aquaculture and its relative science research, including breeding and genetics, physiology, aquaculture-environment, hatchery design and management, utilization of primary and secondary resources in aquaculture, production and harvest, the biology and culture of aquaculturally important and emerging species, aquaculture product quality and traceability, as well as socio-economics of aquaculture and impacts. The primary criterion for publication is new insights that are not only of broad interest to fisheries scientists, and teachers/students/researchers engaged in aquaculture and its relative science, but are also appropriate for R & D personnel as well as readers interested in aquaculture.

3 Publication mode
We are following the Open Access publishing model. All papers published in this journal are licensed to all users under the terms of Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 License, which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any media, provided the original work is properly cited (see Aqua Publisher Open Access Policy).

4 Publication and peer-review process
4.1 Similarity check
All submissions must be subjected to CrossRef's plagiarism check by CrossCheck. Only those with no any similarity compared in the CrossCheck database can be proceeded for peer review. Plagiarism check in this journal is solely for the purpose of submission's language arts and does not imply any plagiarism or forging existed.

4.2 Peer-review
Scientists in the world are invited to be as peer reviewer in this journal. All submission will be automatically transferred online to the reviewers by Manuscript Handling System in the Aqua Publisher prior to CrossRef's plagiarism check by CrossCheck.

7 Publication period
International Journal of Aquaculture promises to offer much faster publication schedules. Normally it takes four to six weeks depending on the speed of peer review. Using the recommended manuscript preparation formats will largely speed up the paper procedures and shorten the periods. Research articles will be published electronically in provisional PDF immediately upon acceptance. A fully HTML web version and PDF download version will be available within four weeks after acceptance.

8 Citing articles in International Journal of Aquaculture
Articles in this journal should be recommended to follow regular citation rules. There is an exception for unique article series and DOI instead of the page number.
